Denes Darab is a photographer, based in Budapest, Hungary. He was born and raised in Hungary and he studied Ballet and Dance at the Hungarian Dance Art Academy between 1997 and 2007. From 2007 to 2013 he was working as a ballet dancer based in Europe and has been travelling around Europe, Asia, East, and South America. Currently he is working with the Hungarian State Opera House.
Denes has started photography in 2013, professionally since 2015. His work is based on black and white photography. Most of his inspiration comes from the forms of the human body as well as architecture and minimalism. His repertoire includes fine art and minimalist photography. He had several joint exhibitions with his mentor and master of fine art photography, János Eifert at Bethlen Art Gallery, Benczúr House and IF Cafe Budapest, Hungary. He also had private exhibitions at The Italian Institute Of Culture; Ankert, Budapest, Hungary and his latest exhibition held at BarMargaux South Kensington, London. His work was published and awarded by the prestigious BLACK & WHITE Magazine twice. First time he was one of The Single Image Awards winners of 2018 and second time he received a Merrit Award in The 2018 Portfolio Contest Awards.
